Ok, I came across a 1921 Morgan One Dollar coin in great condition...
EXCEPT, someone has put a hole in the top of the coin as if it were once worn as a necklace piece.
My question is: Is this coin a lost cause? Or since the condition is great might it actually be worth something other then a necklace pendant?

I am trying to grade my nickels; but i do not know what MS6FS means?
I am looking through the price guide trying to figure out the worth of my nickels and I keep coming across the MS6FS. What does that mean and how do I know if I have an MS6FS nickel?

She has cancer in her kidneys, lungs, and heart!
I just found out yesterday that my high school best friend Dave's 4yr old daughter has stage 4 cancer in her kidneys, lungs, and heart. I am just dumbfounded, sad, and so many other things. I just don't know what to do to help, so I though i would share this story with the other coin enthusiast's hoping you can send good energy, thoughts or prayer what ever suits you.

I hear ketchup, salsa or silver cleaner are good for cleaning coins...
As a kid i loved collecing pennies for my book and i used to soak the out of them in hot sauce or ketchup. Now that i am an adult and realize that is a terrible idea, since it ruins the coin. i am curious what is a safe product to use if you want to clean your coins?

Why spend money having your coin graded when it costs more then the coin is worth?
I may be missing something but I don't know why we are spending money having coins graded, when according to the red book the coins are only worth half of what is being spent. Can someone enlighten me on this thought?
