1998 doubled Kennedy "D"
A short time after showing my discovery of the Kennedy with three extra "D" strikes between the 9 and 9 and doubling of the date and doubling of "IN GOD WE TRUST" the half dollar was switched with a clean coin. A quick examination with my 10 loupe of all 5 of my sets found no trace of the crown jewel of my meager collection. This was at the end of August.
