As a neophyte to submitting coins for grading, I'm still discouraged. I've taken all of these coins to reputable dealers prior to submitting them. Well, some of the low points have been having my 1894 Morgan silver dollar returned with "obverse damage" as the notation. Only 9/14 coins sent in were graded by NGC.
Yes, I've got a lot to learn about which coins to send in for grading. So far out of the 14 coins I have submitted to NGC, only 9 were graded; 5 returning in the infamous "body bag".Mind you, I got the opinion of 2 coin dealers, both of whom I've been buying from for 5 years,prior to submitting these coins. One was even encapsulated by another grading service.Oh well, I read that NGC is starting something new, like encapsulating "ungradable" coins, n
