When is it gonna stop
2013 has come and most Silver Eagles have been issued. There again another new one. I remember when I just bought 2 or 3 each year to stay current.. Now I must buy 8 or 10 and hope I got all the new ones out in 69 and 70 to fill my sets. My 2006 Reverse Proof was the only one of its kind and now we are getting bombed by them every year. When will it all end?

Buying all the new Silver Eagles
Every year it seens to be getting harder to buy the new Graded Silver Eagles released that year. There are the regulars and then there are the Anniversary, and then the (W) and then the (S) and then the "W" and then the "S" Reverse Proofs, Proofs and MS, 69's 70's and then whats next. Is there any way to keep up with them all? When do you buy? Right away or wait for product to get in excess snd the price to go dwn or up or whatever. I so confused. More Mo
It's hard to wait!
When the new issues come out for the upcoming year its hard to know when to buy. I bought a 2010 NGC PF70 Silver Eagle Proof for $124 when they were offered presale and now they are listed for $80. I find it hard to wait for the price to come down. Now the 2011 issues are coming out and I need to decide when to buy. I guess I will wait on some and buy some now. Whatever I can afford. While the weather is to bad for fishing so I guess I will shop today. -gotagofish

It's great to have friends
Practical every day I have someone respond to my online name of gotagofish either from ebay or the NGC REGISTRY. I enjoy talking to people all over the country about coin collecting and fishing. Catch and Release
Being an avid sports fisherman and outdoorsman and being recently retired I needed something to do when the weather was bad.
I took up ebaying and after trying collecting Swiss Army Knives for a while I discovered Silver Eagles were fun and easy to collect.
If you kept all the fish you caught you did not need to catch any more so I took up catch and release. I adopted the same perspective with Silver Eagles. The more I sold, the more I could buy. Now I have just as muc
The wind blows the dollars go.
This week it has been raining and the wind has been blowing here in on the treasure coast. Instead of fishing, which is my #1 hobby I have been shopping for eagles. I have aquired several PCGS and NGC 20th Anniversary silver eagle sets and and a couple of raw sets. I feel there are only so many out there and people are breaking them up and selling individually. These are my favorate eagles with the reverse proof in set. Now all I need to do is pay off my char
