Recently I've been bouning all over the place with what I buy.
I've been keeping up with all you folks and your journals recently, BTW congrats to the award winners this year. Recently I have found myself with the problem of setting a goal for myself with a certain set. I seem to start sets but quickly loose interest in them and move on to somthing else. I guess I just like most everything out there.
I have come across a coin though that has caught my eye. The Great Britain Trade Dollar has
Recently I ran by this neat web site.
Its called Coinstv.com. I'm pretty careful with new sites (Just cleaned mine up after getting a nice virus) but this one has several youtube based videos that are dedicated to different types of coins. Anyway, happy collecting!
Wondering how this works.
As of recently I have been pretty broke, well as far as extra money for collecting goes. I started collecting peace dollars a few months ago but had to stop due to lack of funds. So recently I developed a plan to lower my price range and go for what I can afford.
At any rate, I ran across a coin that caught my eye; however its that new NGC graded "details." I guess NGC started slabbing problem coins, which I have no problem with. I was wondering though, can I add a

I have never seen a MS 70 coin with this kind of negative eye appeal
Who cares about the price of oil!
So I have been looking around at some news and chat boards and have seen that for the 2010 year the mint is going to make a commem set for the solar system. Each planet gets a silver $1 and the sun gets a full one ounce gold $50, for an estimated price of about $1,900 on todays gold and silver prices. That makes 9 silver $1's and a gold $50 just for that set, along with the 2010 wounded soldier's silver $1. Lets not forget the new '09 ultra high relief double
