I recieved this one back today from NCS, Graded by NGC, it is a rare obverse type, 1853 -Dated Cal Gold G50c, Indian Wreath Type AU55, a nice item for my collections, !
National Bicentenial / Washington Stamp Act Medals Certified by NGC,
I randomly bought a set of coins on e-bay, to my surprise it came with alot of unusual items, some of which appeared to be plated dollars, many local dealers speculated that they were medals, gold plated, bronze etc. I sent a portion of these into NGC to see what would happen.
