2009 Proof Eagles

Proof & MS W. Eagles ...SUSPENDED The good news is that it looks like the "W" MS eagles will happen (if we stop buying the regulars) with the below statement from the mint, I have to belive this could be a great year to pick up some proof eagles (if the ever come out)   Production of United States Mint American Eagle Silver Proof and Uncirculated Coins has been temporarily suspended because of unprecedented demand for American Eagle Silver Bullion Coins. US Mint doing great

PF70 becoming common instead of the exception. Just got the results of 15 coins sent into NGC, my result could not have been better 9 PF70, (4 - 2008 Proof Silver Eagles, 4 - 2008W Silver Eagles and 1 - 2008 50Cent Comm Eagle) It is greate to see the quality that the mint has been able to put out for collectors. Looking at the numbers pf70's are becomming more and more common. I hope we do not become less impressed with the lower graded coins. These are also great works of art. My

Excited to be into registered coins

Just sent my first shippment to get NGC 2/27/08 After spending my year end bonus (and some extra) I have become addicted to graded coins. I just sent off 14 coins to compleate my set of graded American Eagles. I am hoping that one or two get the PF70 grade (guess I will see in 3 weeks). One question I have, and if anyone is reading I would be intrested in the best way to display and store the coins? Dose leaving the coins out in the light degrade them?   Thanks and hope to keep you

Into the Safe Deposit box everything gose

After some very good advise. Thank you for your emails on how to display coins. I agree that it is best to have the in a bank safe deposit box, so... In they go.   Being new to coin collecting I am glad to see a area where I can be warned (or stopped) from doing this that are ill advised.
