The Elusive MS 70 2006 W Silver Eagle

Well, NOT "Elusive" if you have lotsa CASH Wow! People are really crazy ( me included ) about the 2006 w silver eagles. I have one in original mint packaging, ungraded, that I paid 89.00 for 3 weeks ago. Now I don't even see the ungraded for less than 150.00. This may seem like a re-print of my last entry, but really, this is amazing! So I weigh out the dilemna about whether to get my coin graded ( knowing it will be at LEAST a ms 69) or do I buy a pre-graded MS 70 for about 200.00?

2006 W American Silver Eagle Prices Continue to "Soar"

Pardon the Pun I really wish I started collecting silver eagles last year. I cannot believe the prices of last years 2006 w silver eagles. I have been watching the price of a 20th anniversary set go from 350.00 about a week ago...to upwards of 1500.00 now. Even an uncirculated 2006 w UNGRADED is going for 160.00. The offer I did not take

Will it come back to haunt me? So, after much thought and personal deliberation...and err...ok mumbling to myself....nightmares...etc. I decided not to take the "NGC 69 2006 Bullion One of 1st 50,000" coins I was thinking very hard about acquiring. I am sure it would be a great addition to my collection, but I just cannot bring myself to buy a bullion coin, graded or not, for $60.00. My First MS 70 Coin

It's Nice to have SOMETHING considered "perfect" ...I think? Now, I am just anordinary guy with ordinary tastes and not reall a whole lot of "needs". But when I saw this MS 70 W Silver Eagle Uncirculated coin, I got what treasure hunters refer to as "the fever". The best coin holders?

What is a good price? So, the other day I bought a 2007 bullion Silver Eagle coin from a mail source and I ASSUMED ( we all know what happens when we ASSUME) it would come to me in a plastice coin holder as most would when most coins are ordered. But it came to me in a padded envelope wrapped in a small coin sized envelope. A Great Time to Collect!!
