How do some Dealers Sleep at night???
I mainly collect Mercury Dimes. My wife & I used to travel to a lot of big Coin Shows, as a vacation & to look for my Mercs... 10 years ago, "mainly Dealers" talked down about what they called Slabbed Coins, so I always bought Raw ones... Now I understand why they did that.

Buying coins on Ebay
I've bought some Merc dimes on Ebay recently. I got a good deal on a few of them, but one of them I really had to fight for. By the end of the auction, I kind of felt like I was in the same position as my grandson. Have a Great Thanksgiving Everyone!!!!!
What happened to my Full Bands??
Got some dimes Back from NGC. Only one had full bands, though all were sold to me as having full bands. I guess I need a 18X power Loupe instead of my 10X. Just sent in another batch, let's see how they turn out... I'll let you know.

Added a few more dimes with pictures today. I'm leaving on vacation soon and by the time I return, the coins I sent in to be graded, should be coming back. I will add them as soon as possible. Happy Hunting.
The only time I wished for a lesser grade
While checking my nickels in Yeoman's 61st Edition (2008) Red Book I found this misprint. Check out the photo attached & note the 1943P... Almost makes me wish I had a lower grade Nickel..

Full Bands are not always full...
On 09/17/2007 I started entering coins in my registry. I entered 4 Mercury Dimes with pictures. I have a Long Set of Mercury Dimes, which took me several years to collect. 95% of them have full bands. I plan on adding more to the registry as I get them graded. (which will be soon)!!!
