Why ICG is not a top tier grading company part deux
If you are not familiar with my part one: the situation that I?m having is that ICG (I Can?t Grade) is putting out 70's that aren?t even close to the 70 grade. I have returned several coins, 6 to be exact, reason being that they had smudges, nicks and scratches. I contacted Paul DeFlice which is the VP Of Marketing for ICG, he informed me that out of the 6 I sent in Half didn?t meet the grade, and the other half did. I received my "NEW" coins

This coin is one of the most beautiful coins ever.I doubt that you will find another.It has a history attached to it that strecthes beyond my explanation. i will be traveling to the mint were it was made in Pforzheim,Germany by B.H. Mayer. i dont know that much about it except it wasnt easy to make and i have contacted the current mint owners and they have no record of its original casting. Well I started on my mission to look at ICG coins, as a great investment and means of crossover grading. I have seen a few of their coins at shows and there the best value coins out there, but it seems that the majority of coins that carry icg don?t end up at shows but instead on eBay or other auction sites.
