Fun with a Few DDOs

16 posts in this topic

Have we now seen every DDO you own, Lou? :-)

You've inspired to consider a little project. I wonder if I can build a DDO clock (like the off-center clocks). Might be tough for some of the directions.

Your display is very cool! Is there an (unobvious) ordering to the DDOs?

It would be very tough for some of the positions, even more difficult than the struck-off-center and clipped clocks that I've seen.

There's no point to the order other than to jumble the shades/colors.

Say, Howard, how does the '68 FS-03.97 look? wink.gif

Your display seems incomplete then. The perfectionist in me demands complete sets!

I'll take a look at this. If I can't do it, then Ken might be the only other person with a shot at it.

That is a very nice set, Lou! Thanks for sharing it with us.

On a side note, your array reminds me of one of those kitchen ceilings where they use tin squares that are stamped with a design. Maybe you should contact a metal fabricating company and patent (or copyright) your design. It would look fantastic in an old coin shop.
