For those who like small busts !!

With all the hoopla over the new President coins, I thought I'd post a coin with a

little "character" that I just picked up earlier today.

 

This is an early state LM-8.1 from 1835 - Rev DD - before the die break that eventually turns into big cud by 1836 (LM-1.2), almost erasing the TED of UNITED.

That's a pretty coin GAB! 893applaud-thumb.gif It definitely has some character. I also like the way that you gave us 2 images of each side to get a better feel for the coin.

It is so hard sometimes to show the lustre of these Busties - especially the little ones.

It would be cool to be able to show a video of the "wobble" that we do with coins in checking them out, but till then, I will continue with the "angular" approach. ( It is much easier with raw coins like this one, than with slabbers!!)
