I've upgraded several of my Liberty Nickels - and imaged ALL of them!

I upgraded my 1885 from MS-60 to MS-62, the 1886 from ex-NGC MS-61 to MS-63, and FINALLY got a 1912-S, albeit one that's not the greatest in the world. It's the final coin I want to upgrade. I also upgraded probably a half-dozen of the other coins since the last time I posted these.

Now that the set is complete, do you think I should sell it 27_laughing.gif?

HERE is the link - reasonably dial-up friendly, so enjoy!

COOL!

I really like how it's set up like an album.

Amanda,

I believe you also post across the street. Feel free to link this thread over there, if you'd like. I really enjoy sharing my collections in this manner.

EXCELLENT set!!! thumbsup2.gif893applaud-thumb.gif

Obviously a lot of time and care was spent on picking nice eye appealing examples for the various dates and mintmarks. Good going!

Extraordinary set, James, and a wonderful setup on your web site to display it. thumbsup2.gifthumbsup2.gif Few may realize how difficult the set you put together is to assemble - one of the toughest.

I love the set as a whole; and, while it's difficult to choose a favorite, I think the '94 is exceptional. Your "album" presentation is very attractive.

James

A very impressive set and display presentation. Congratulations.

You have bested my set by one, as I have yet to upgrade my 1885 AU

to a MS grade.

A question about the fabulous appearing 1883(NC), is it a very high MS

or a proof?

James,

That proof just does not go with such a nice uncirculated set. It jumped out at me immediately as not in character with the others. I would be happy to give you my address if you wish to dispose of it!

All kidding aside, was it ever graded by a TPG service? I would think it has a strong possibilty of Cameo designation.

Hi Ed. I'll keep your kind offer in mind 27_laughing.gif.

If you're referring to the 1883 N/C, I agree with you. It was certified by NGC as PF-64, but it was in a very old holder, before they used CAM and UCAM designations. It should be a CAM by today's standards.
