Mohawk Posted May 23, 2019 Share Posted May 23, 2019 Gotcha.....from my experience, it's rare for PCGS graded Canadian coins to get an upgrade at NGC, but it's not impossible. I love to metal detect and I found this item recently. I have done a little research and think it may be a hammered lead coin (the weight sure feels like lead). Any help with this would be great. Both grading services are too hard on 1949 dollars. They do come nice but that's no reason to limit the grade. That's easily a MS65 coin, even 66 with luster is not out of the question.
