No mas SLQ's?

7 posts in this topic

Are all of the high-end SLQ's in the hands of collectors? Searched the Long Beach Show, and several web-sites and auctions, to no avail..lots of MS64 and lower..after seeing what the James Lull collection of SLQ's realized in Denver, the time may be right to put some scarce pieces up for auction...your thoughts?

1917 Type ll Standing Liberty Quarter PCGS MS65FH $1600

The bad news is that this coin is priced for what an MS66FH would be. The good news is that there is a very good reason for that - it's absolutely gorgeously toned on both sides. I can already guarantee you that my images wont do it justice, so you can either believe me or not about how beautiful it is.

1930-S Standing Liberty Quarter PCGS MS67FH $5350

Medium depth golden, lilac and blue patina graces each side of this sharply detailed example. Mark-free surfaces exhibit swirling mint luster. A superb piece. PCGS population of 16 with none graded higher.
