I don't know what is going to happen, but the Old Boy ("we'll control government spending") Deficiticans (bring back supply-side-economics-theory boys!) are running the show again in Washington which is inflationary. In fact it is the same old boys! The stock market has lost it's siren call (for the present). The housing prices have bloated to the point of diminishing returns. Bonds just don't have the pizzazz. Where are all the Yuppie Bucks going to go now, to time shares? I don't think so! They will flow to Collectables (of course), how stupid of me to believe otherwise.

I case anyone has not noticed this thing has a life cycle, kind of like Hally's Comet passing by Earth. Here it comes again, be ready boys and girls!

This is kind of tongue in cheek, but???????

No, I am not prescient, just have been around for awile.

So far I'm the lone voter for $750 to $1,000. Actually the "golden range" for coins in the $500 to $2,500 area. For that kind of money you can get interesting collectors coins that a lot of people don't have and yet you don't have to mortgage the house to buy them. There's not that much of this stuff around these days that is FAIRLY PRICED and PROPERLY GRADED.

I think $6.00 State Quarters will be $200.00 5 years after the State Quarter program ends. Off center State Quarters that are now around $ 40.00 will be $1,000.00 5 years later, also.

I think the state quarters will have a BRIEF magnesium flare flash in the pan on the last year and will be promoted to the gills.

After 2008, I believe it will become VERY evident that 80 gazillion of them have been ratholed and like silver certificates, will emerge from every nook and cranny and be a drug on the market.

These are not, never have been, and never will be.....rare coins.

That has to mean something.
