I don't get Coin World since I don't need 100 pages of dealers ads selling overgraded problem coins at inflated price, so I can't see the photo. However, since Michael says "her", I will assume it is Laura Sperber.

Also, I didn't see any thread on it across the street. Must have gotten buried under 100 threads on Kennedys.
blush.gif----------------I saw it. It dealt with how Dealers are at risk when a Collector takes a photo of a boarse floor and shows it in a thread on the internet.

Whacky stuff as you would then have to conclude someone of evil intent is stalking the coin chat boards looking for said photo vs simply buying an admission into a show and seeing the Dealer in person.

It died a pretty quick death when reason slowly took over the insanity.

Well... How come nobody scanned the page and posted it???? Afraid?!?! smile.gif

Is this the page 10 of a 20 page Coin World? Does it list her likes and dislikes?

I'm joking of course but since I haven't read a good coin mag in two months, I might as well keep my eye out for Coin World.

makepoint.gif Okay, see the icon here, I'm going to have to do that to someone!

I had no choice. Whether I liked it or not, my picture will be publised in many places this summer because of the 1913 Liberty 5C and all the happenings. So, yes, I ok'd CW to put the picture in. I still don't want my image shown from shows (don't ask why).

Trust me, while publicity is nice, I do not like my picture being published. I guess the upside is now everyone knows who to avoid at a show! 893frustrated.gif

BTW, Snuggles was really taken in trade for the 1849/6 PCGS MS68 H.10C (ex knoxville) we placed with a collector. Shes a real cutie. She is NOT our corporate mascot-we reserve that for TDN (he's jealous of snuggles)

Hey Sperber,

I thought your corporate mascot will be the new employee's little dog? Isn't she a real cutie? Is it true that she liked you but not George?

Somewhere, I have a bunch of trivia items about coin swallowing........I gotta write an article about it sometime smile.gif

Laura raises an interesting point. Some coin firms print their staff pictures quite liberally in their literature, which I think is an attempt to create a more personal atmosphere between dealer and client. Others never print any pictures, for security reasons or whatever. It is something to think about if you are running a national business.
