Barber Half Dollar Give Away

22 posts in this topic

For the sake of allowing my fellow NGC Board Members to be part of my 2,000th post "Accross The Street", please answer this question:

Which Barber Half Dollar was the first one that I added to my 3rd Tier Set ( sorry, its obscured here as the posting dates are included ) - you may guess any TPG coin ( you don't have to name the Service or the grade ) or any Raw coin which I have added to this set.

The first person who guesses correctly either here at NGC Chat Forum or directly on the PCGS US Coin Forum ( click onto search: 2000 ) . There is only one post per person.

The winner will receive a duplicate Barber Half Dollar from my 4th tier set, either Raw or TPG, date of my choosing.

The coin in question is from the Third Tier Set and is a mid range coin grading F15 thru XF 45. No AU 50-MS65 coins are included in this set. These higher graded coins are in my 1st and 2nd Tier sets.

Good luck.

The contest is over at 10:00 PM, ( Eastern Day Light Savings Time ) Sunday, August 20th, 2006.

Congratulations to Coincollector15 from accross the street who correctly answered the question. It was a 1909-O NGC 30 purchased from JJ Teaparty in Boston in June of last year.

The prize is a 1900-P half which I bought from Tyler Child in ( raw ) Fine 12. Its a nice original coin.
