This came from across the street, and for those of you who don't venture over there, I thought I'd warn you.

Check out some of her auctions and you'll see. A 1909 S Indian without an S sold for $366... A 1916 D Mercury without a D, a supposed 1942/1 Mercury PCGS MS62FB, without available cert # and lousy pictures. Just steer clear.

I just looked at the auctions. All are 100% legit and I would buy coins from this seller. The D is there on 1916 D, the S is weak on the 1909 S Indian( I would bet a lunch on it). Trust me if the person buying the coin did not get what was advertised as far as Mint Marks go they would be all over it. This person may be fat(They bought Diet Pills), but thats no reason to pick on them. 100% and Legit coins if you ask me.

Alrighty then!

With all that being said, every person has a right to to decide where he or she buys his or her coins from. Never let someone else tell you where to buy coins. Sure take thier advice and then use your own knowledge to buy the coins where you see fit.

"NARU'd" should just about clear that up.

Enough people complain you can get anybody off Ebay. Ebay can be a mob at times. I bet not one of the people who complained ever had a transaction with this seller. Some people just have sour grapes and have nothing better to do. As a matter of fact if one person so chose to they could get half of this board banned of Ebay as well. Just ask Frank from across the street.

If coin is returned it must be post marked for return within 3 days of receipt in the unopened postal package it was shipped in. And buyer must contact me via e-mail prior to returning NO EXCEPTIONS!Buyer agrees this is a contract and hereby agress to these terms.Buyer agrees that there is no refund on shipping or insurance and buyer also agrees to pay all sellers fees plus a 15% restocking fee if coin is returned because coin is now raw and isnt in a pcgs slab.

One heck of a return policy. smile.gif

I'm not so sure.....I'm not saying this seller is dishonest, in fact, I really dont think she is, but I have seen misunderstandings like this get nasty. The seller says unopened postal package it was shipped in. Why add the word postal?

Of course, it just might be because the seller is new to Ebay and hasn't figured out the right terms.

I am very suspicious of these "deals too good to be true" such as spend $99.00 and get $300 worth of slabbed coins. Sometimes to even stick the hook in deeper, they say 1 or 2 will be pcgs or ngc. Another one I have seen was $50,000 collection being sold for $5,000. Of course, they use the pcgs price guide to value their coins from the various junk services. Just remember, if a deal looks too good to be true, it probably isnt.

You are right. If it is too good to be true there is a reason for it. On a side note welcome to the forums. Stop by Oliva's Vintage(Guitar Shop) and say hi to John.
