Nice coin! It looks like a beautiful F12. thumbsup2.gif

I will go so far out on a limb as to even guess the date that your coin was delivered. Ready? January 10, 1816. thumbsup2.gif

Here's its sister.

What a wonderful, eye appealing coin with both character and originality! cloud9.gifyay.gifcloud9.gif I like the even coloration between both sides and would grade it at VF20. It looks like it is in a PCGS holder. Will you share the grade with us in a day or so?

Sweet half Goose, 893applaud-thumb.gif toned just the way I like 'em. 893scratchchin-thumb.gif

Reminds my of a few Bust halves I was looking at in the Reiver auction last spring that were graded F12; although they seemed to have more nicks and scratches then your half. Actually I think your half has a great look for the grade with just nice even wear and almost no nicks at all. Good find! thumbsup2.gif

TJ's...

I did not intentionally neglect to post the grade. It's holdered F12.

2 very studly halves...

You guys are making me want to spend more money.

It's my personal opinion that bust halves are going to be the next hot coin.

Looks like a picture-perfect F-12 to me!! I love the 1815s, and regret that I haven't been able to afford to keep one for myself. I have had the pleasure of owning some very nice ones, though.
