a territory coin question....

i found a 1944 USA nickel that has an emblem on one side ive never seen before and on the other the words "five centavos" and "filipinas" with the picture of a man sitting........i was wonderng if you had any information on this coin?

i noticed that someone before me had posted about the same coin, and i went to the website posted on that thread, but the coin i have isn't on there.....it doesn't match any of the coins pictured......

It's from the commonwealth period of the US Philippines. The five centavos was struck in Philadelphia (no mint mark) and San Francisco (S mint mark) in 1944. It's made from a copper-nickel-zinc alloy and is 21mm in diameter and weighs 4.87 grams. They're worth around a dollar in Unc.
