Rim Damage

Just got the results for a large batch of coins I sent in for grading. I didn't think I was going to escape forever, but I had one coin body bagged for "Rim Damage". It's a 2001 Silver NY 25C. What constitutes "rim damage"?? The coin either came straight out of a proof set or an album...

 

I'm not all that disappointed though... 4 of the 5 2006 Clad Quarters I sent with the batch came back 70 UCAM!!

Could you detect the damage? Did you see anything wrong with the rim? Could have been a mistake?
