It looks like there's a seam running around the edge of your 'coin'.

 

If so, it's a cast copy.

It appears to be a crudely made reproduction. The real issues are prohibitively rare, while the copies were made by the tens of thousands. It is still an interesting conversation starter, however.

It's a common replica.

Common is a understatement. This is by far the most replicated of all the Colonial coins. It may even be more so then all the rest combined. I wish we could tell you this one was real.
