By the way guys, you should really check this site out. I completed my first trade last night with Ronday. I really like the format and the atmosphere of the place. You guys would be wholly welcomed over there.

The guy's offering me this coin, another honey colored roosevelt dime, and possibly a third coin for a 2005-W 1/10 oz gold proof coin. should I do it? I think he said the dime was 1951 but I'm not sure. Both graded by NGC.

Its all about what you like. Gold vs older coins. I think right now I like the gold better and a W mint mark at that. Just look at the 95 W SAE... You make the call smile.gif go for what you like.

i like the merc dime but for me the gold coin is a 65 dollar coin out of the holder

 

the merc dime and the roosie dime are worth 20dollars out of their holders

Truthfully, I think the color of the Merc is not that desireable, especially on an issue from 1945, which is known for having some of the best color in the Merc series. From what I have read of the proposed trade, this would not be one I would make if I were you. In my opinion, you would be trading down.
