US Mint Order on Hold?

I placed an order Friday for a half oz Gold Eagle. The order details says "In stock and reserved" yet at the top of the page it says Order Status: "Your order request is on hold."

 

What could this mean? I used the same credit card within the month, so it shouldn't be a card issue. If it's in stock why would they be holding it?

My other order says the same thing and I can't figure out why. Maybe they are behind schedule in shipping or something like dat. Definitely does not seem to be a c/c issue.

If it's over a certain amount, they usually do that just to make sure that the order's legit. It's happened to me a few times.

I dunno. I've ordered from them before no problem.

 

Anyway, now it says "Order Status: Your order request is in process." So I feel better.

That's what they told me when I called in to ask why it was on hold. Basically said that if it was over a certain amount, they usually do a check to make sure that it's all legit and stuff...

Must be subjective then. My last order was ONLY for a 1/2 oz pf gold Eagle. The order received not 2 weeks prior using the exact same cc and for more money was placed on a Friday and arrived at my door on Tuesday.
