That 1905 I just posted is probably a loser, but this coin is a deffinate winner. The coin is just dripping with luster and is a nice original BROWN with alot of colors like blues and greens in the toning. The photos do not do this coin justice, it is very nice looking in person with a great strike and subperb luster. That's the nature of Ebay and uncertified copper.

I have most of the common dates, what I'm trying to do is build an entire set of raw uncirculated Indians from Ebay. You can immagine what frustration that is. For every nice original coin I get, I get 3 or 4 coins that have been mucked with in one fashion or another. I'm quickly learning that on Ebay you are more likely to get decent coins if you stay away from red copper and go for the red browns and browns. I used to really like full red Indians, but lately, I have grown an appreciation for nicely orginal toned Indians. People might ask, why build a set from Ebay. I guess it's just more of a challenge.

This is a beauty. I know there's always this big furor and hubbub over certified "RD" coins, but I have always had a strong preference for "brilliant brown", for lack of a better term.

That post was actually inspiried by one of Michael's stream-of-consciousness coin adulations.
