Two rather ordinary coins and a boring story...

...so I got outbid on ALL six auctions that I was vying for on Heritage, and decided to go to ye old local coin shoppe to try and get a fix.

 

Here's what I got: two decent coins for my Dansco type set. Now I'm gonna start cracking. Now I have everything I need for the bottom half of the first page except for that elusive FE with great eye appeal at a type coin price. (sigh)

 

I didn't post the reverses, since scans suck anyway.

Thanks Bruce. I particularly like the trime.

 

This one has a decent amount of mint luster, and it doesn't have the ugly spotty toning that is so typical of trimes in lesser grades.
