Here is the 1941 D that posted previously to get everyones opinion as to a grade . I was rescanning it and noticed theD/D. By the way are there ny other avenues besides ebay and yahoo for coin sales? I listed on yahoo classifieds and usfreeads and am getting views but no replies...John Bordner suggested I get the 1942/1941 D Merc. slabbed through PCGS ...would it have a higher value if I do because he wants to buy it but I don't know what grade it is.

I can't see your RPM in the photo.

Yes, if you have slabbed coins, Teletrade is a reasonable venue for low-value pieces.

Many of these early Washington quarters have slightly shifted, or smudged, mintmarks that appear to be OMMs but are not. It looks like you are including a negative image of a scan and, from what little I can see of it, this appears to not be an OMM.

Yes, I realized that after I looked at the image again and noticed that the letters were not reversed. My bad. foreheadslap.gif
