What kind of lighting do u use?

Halogen lights will show all: flaws, hairlines and all else. OTT lights are great. It is like opening a can of sunshine in your room!

I use one of those funny little halogen bulbs that you see in the grocery store, they are supposed to last almost forever. This one has lasted four years, and shows no signs of quitting. I would like something a little bit brighter, but this does a pretty good job and gives off a nice white light. I just have it in an ordinary flexible desk lamp.

I use 75W Incandescent, 60W Reveal, 75W Halogen, and 13W OTT. I take pictures of my coins using all of these types. Doing this gives me a great way to view my pic's and try for the closest to "In Hand" that I can do.
