1943 Walking Liberty Needs a Grade

I know it's not the best image, but do you have any idea how it might grade if it was submitted?

I cracked it out of a third world slab labeled MS67 insane.gif

It seems right on the cusp of MS-64 and MS-65. Being a common date, my bet is on MS-65, though it could go higher if the images don't do justice.

Nice coin! thumbsup2.gif

I'd call it a 63, with the rim ding above Liberty's head and between the T and Y being major issues. Typical scuffiness in the fields. Some of the devices seem shiny/bright - is that an artefact of your photography or has there possibly been some polishing?

Spider---Scuffing in right field and nicks on neck, left breast and down center skirt lines do limit the grade. Ticks on rim also. But coin has a decent strike. Overall, I cannot go above a 64. Bob [supertooth]

Thanks for your input.

I wish I could get a better image. It’s just awesomely brilliant, I’m absolutely sure it hasn’t been polished or cleaned and the high resolution photo magnifies the surface.

The place between the T & Y is where the coin has a very light gold hue and it appears maybe a finger nail or flip has disturbed the surface.
