The Arrow on the US trade dollar

Someone told me that for the years 1873,74, and occassionally on 75,76 trade dollars the arrow ends BETWEEN the 0 and 2. And on all trade dollars from 1877 and after the arrow ends over the 2 .Is it true?

Well, I don't know about the arrows, but the Trade dollar hubs were replaced around 1875 or 1876 for both the obverse and reverse. There are minor design detail differences between the Type I and II hubs. Coins with Type I obverse and Type II reverse exist. Here's more information
