1889 Worn Dies Doubled Lips (MDD?)

6 posts in this topic

According to the Comprehensive Catalog and Encyclopedia of Morgan & Peace Dollars the 1889 P Morgan Dollar due to the extended use of dies and large mintage issue produced a large number of rough coins. This one I believe to be a good example of a coin produced with worn out dies.

It has a nice die clash on the neck near the base of the jaw. Does it have the reverse die clash between the eagle and the wreath on the right?
