Error Coin Question ?

7 posts in this topic

Hi,

I am Teresa and I am new around here, so I have a general question for anyone who can answer it...

I just certified a proof error quarter and have no idea of it's possible value...

It's a 1979 S, 25c Reverse Struck in rim burr @ 11:00 - Mint Error PF69 Ultra Cameo

What should I do with this thing???

Thanks in advance,

Teresa

Hello, Teresa.

Go to the main page and repost this with the image in the Numismatic forum found below the Watercooler where this is posted.

Or, just click here.

But, I wouldn't think that it would carry too much of a premium since it is not a drastic, cool-looking error.

Agreed. In fact, it may actually decrease the value slightly as it's not the type of error most collectors fancy, especially on a proof coin.
