Reeded edge? 27_laughing.gif

On the other hand, NGC should have designated this as a lettered edge on the slab, for those folks who might not recognize Overton attributions.

What's sad is, there are at least TWO bidders who think the coin's worth that much!

Oh, and no, I am NOT one of those biddres!

Contact Heritage and they will take the coin down or cancel the bids if they agree with you. Jim Halprin is a member of these forums and I see him logged in frequently. Sadly, he reads the comic forums. frown.gif

From the Heritage Terms & Conditions:

NO WARRANTY, WHETHER EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED, IS MADE WITH RESPECT TO ANYDESCRIPTION CONTAINED IN THIS AUCTION OR ANY SECOND OPINE. Any description of the items or second opine contained in this auction is for the sole purpose of identifying the items for those Bidders who do not have the opportunity to view the lots prior to bidding, and no description of items has been made part of the basis of the bargain or has created any express warranty that the goods would conform to any description made by Auctioneer.

But, there is a three-day return privilege for Online Sessions:

Exclusively Internet . . . Continuous Internet and Online Session auctions: THREE (3) DAY RETURN POLICY. All lots . . . paid for within seven days of the Auction closing are sold with a three (3) day return privilege. You may return lots under the following conditions: Within three days of receipt of the lot, you must first notify Auctioneer . . . and immediately mail the lot(s) . . . . A non-negotiable return fee of 5% of the purchase price ($10 per lot minimum) will be deducted from the refund for each returned lot or billed directly. Postage and handling fees are not refunded. After the three-day period (from receipt), no items may be returned for any reason. Late remittance for purchases revokes all Return-Restock privileges.

Missing the return period could require a trip to Texas:

If any dispute arises regarding payment, authenticity, grading, description, provenance, or any other matter pertaining to the Auction, the Bidder or a participant in the Auction and/or the Auctioneer agree that the dispute shall be submitted, if otherwise mutually unresolved, to binding arbitration in accordance with the commercial rules of the American Arbitration Association (A.A.A.). A.A.A. arbitration shall be conducted under the provisions of the Federal Arbitration Act with locale in Dallas, Texas. . . .

Maybe this would have helped:

Let's be careful out there.
