I recently bought several Canadian 1 oz Silver Maple Leafs. Came individually packaged in a Royal Candian Mint package (RCM). They are extremely bright and shiney, seems almost too bright to be real. Two of the coins have no shine on part of the edge and it spills over on to the rim. Looks as though the glossy shine on the coins is a coating which has disappeared from part of the edge. Anyone have any information about this? Thanks.
