I just posted this as a "reply" to a thread. I liked it and decided to start a new one with it. heh heh

 

The ten steps:

 

1. Collect coins

2. Acquire some nice ones.

3. Learn about slabs.

4. Begin forgetting coins.

5. Concentrate on the difference in slabs.

6. Go through a market "bust."

7. See where chips fall.

8. Begin disregarding slabs.

9. Study coins.

10. Collect coins.

Sigh. Do we have to re-argue slabs every week? If the market doesn't like them, the market can get rid of them. If they're growing in prominence, it means the market wants them.

 

Maybe I'm just saying what I have been wanting to say for a long time now, but so many people here and across the street talk about collecting what you want how you want it yet demean or ridicule anyone who collects differently from how they do. Either the people need to say what they really believe or admit they speak hypocritically on this issue.
