Hey whats up guys,

i recently came across some pretty good looking coins. i have 5 Carson City Morgan coins from 1880 to 1885 and they are all in slabbed government cases. im trying to sell them but i am unsure what to do really because i am very new to collecting and selling coins. should i get them all certified or just sell them on ebay. please give me any possible advice about anything! thanks grin.gif

Welcome----If the coins are nice, I would send them to NGC. They would certify them and put a grade on each one. Then you could put them onto Ebay and make your bucks. You need to find someone who is either an ANA member or an NGC dealer to send the coins for you. Or join the ANA and send them yourself. Good luck. Bob [supertooth]

as for your 1885-cc if it is more eye appealling and more cartwheel it might be higher grade?? or prooflike with a mirror surface then it is worth more

send to ngc for their grade and designation opinion in the original gsa holders

Also NGC certification will leave the coin right in the Governemnt holder and put a grading band on it with grade. Kind of neat as no other company that I know of does this.

And that will add to the value of the product.

You can join the NGC collector's club and submit them yourself as well.
