a new Draped Bust quarter 1806/5 to go with my 1796.

I always keep my eyes peeled for these since I own a nice low grade 1796. I think I will do a set of them and try to match them condition-wise and appearance wise as best I can.

 

I ran across this and paid probably more than I should have but I find overdates to be intriguing and it will go fairly well with my 1796. Now to find a decent 1804.

I like it a lot. It's not a scarce overdate, but it's popularity ensures that it will always bring a premium. Coins like this, not being "pop tops" or "monsters" are terribly underappreciated.
