...I'd like to introduce my treasured Antietam. I recently found out it is a "brother coin" to the NGC MS69 in the "Bingham Collection". It came from the same original holder and it just makes me go bananas yay.gifwink.gif

Feedback is always appreciated. gossip.gif

I love this coin. This is what I consider the epitome of original toning. These are the vibrant colors of autumn that are impossible to duplicate under manipulated circumstances and that are so admired and revered by those who love toned coinage. The golds, burnt auburn, orange, red and touch of bright green are remniscent of looking out into a forrest in October. The vibrancy and luster are also spectacular on this particular piece.

You wouldn't by chance have an image of the reverse? 893scratchchin-thumb.gif

<Dizzy only buys coins with pretty obverse toning. The reverse on this one must look terrible>

It's actually quite appealing. Under light and the loop, there are some beautiful colors hidden beneath the darker rim toning. It's originality at its' best. hail.gif

Better image of my Antietam posted on the original post. This is EXACTLY what the coin looks like in-hand.
