Galleries - Crop out the holder, or not?

Which do you guys prefer? Here are two examples:

Personally, I like the close up shots.

I'm with Arch - the close-ups are better and there is no need to show the holder.

I too prefer to crop out the slab and focus on the coin.

Without a doubt… leave the holder out.

 

Showing the holder is just a waste of pixels,

 

I like to crop my images to a square just a little larger than the coin’s rim.

I guess the better question would be why would anyone want to see the holder to begin with?

The holder number is already in the description area. Why bother to show it when the coin is really what is being displayed.
