the display case is for me

 

really nice and with good eye appeal and above average presentation

 

my only suggestion would be to make the dates metallic gold color and make the numbers more thicker highlighted

 

then it will show off the brown backround better and make a neat contrast from the golden dates and brown case color which will draw more eyes and eye appeal to the silver colored state quarters

I agree.. I was also considering a natural wood frame encasing a felted background... in a deep maroon or black. When I actually build it, I will post pictures.
