It's been quite some time since I purchased anything. In fact, I've sold off most of my lower dollar key dates and believe I am going to concentrate on picking up stuff like this rather than 5 lower valued coins that equal this (for example).

Also, feel free to guess the grade. It's in an old green label pcgs holder.

Well, since I already know the grade I will refrain from guessing. I'm glad you took the plunge on this coin as they do not often have this originality or eye appeal. thumbsup2.gif

Awesome. This is a date that I once considered buying for my type set. Then I dismantled my type set.

 

Congrats on a super piece that would be a cornerstone of any collection.

It's always nice to post a purchase and hear praise....but I didnt' buy this without first asking Tom and Stman about it. I don't know squat about bust halves but just really dig a killer stopper key date!

 

PCGS VF25 is the grade by the way.
