1976-S Clad proof Quarter with DDO #1

1 post in this topic

Hello,

I'm new here and have a question that I've been trying to find some research on. I have a 1976-S clad proof Washington quarter which shows a superb medium spread on the date. I went to a website and found it to be a DDO#1. I remember back in the 70's reading an article concerning this type coin and I'm trying to find out anything I can about it. I can tell you it is not a strike or machine doubled coin. The numbers are nice and round and not flat. Coneca states 1 graded proof 65 is known. Can you possibly shed some light on it's value? I believe this coin should grade at least a proof 67 cameo to ultra cameo.
