Now if only the Mint could produce the new nickels to look like that, then we might have something interesting in 2006. wink.gif

Here's another in a "different" holder:

I think if the Mint would use this Monticello rendition on the back of the 'new' nickel (but drop the name from the design- it's too crowded) we would have a winner.

I agree totally. That would be a nice compromise to just changing the reverse altogether.

Nice "fall foliage" color on those leaves.

 

Almost any rendering of Monticello would be better than going back to the pre-Lewis and Clark version. This one is nice.
