My newly restored token back from NCS

Here's a token I just had conserved at NCS. Notice the blue tones which weren't affected. I was impressed with the quality of work.

Nothing, that I could see. On coins I purchase on ebay, I never know how the coins were handled prior to sell. On more impressive coins, I send for slabbing. I'd just hate to see what appears to be quality coin end up with problems after slabbing, so I send them to NCS to make sure what can be done to preserve the coin is done prior to slabbing. Dipping in acetone alone doesn't make me feel secure for the long term preservation of a coin.

 

Maybe I'm money foolish, I just cherish the coins and want them to be preserved as well as possible.

Ditto. Just sent a Connecticut Copper to NCS for the same consevation. I hope I'm as pleasantly surprised as you must have been when it comes back to me. Nice work!
