I agree with James. I don't see any wear on the coin, but the color doesn't look right to me. Perhaps it was lightly cleaned and retoned?

 

You didn't ask, but while I have the book out I checked and it's an LM-2, a common die pair. Note the die crack at S7 and into the cap. There are also die flow marks in front of liberty's lips. It looks like she's blowing you a kiss Hayden. flowerred.gif

Thanks for the input guys.I was planning on making an offer on the piece and seeing how it goes. I rather like the toning on this piece,and the reverse looks "real" while the obverse looks a bit quircky but appealing nonetheless.I think the seller's lighting has something to do with it...

Randy I certainly appreciate your attribution of my collection,and yes she may just be blowing me a kiss.You know a well-mannered(and rugged good-looking! wink.gif ) guy like me could make her a good home,plus she'd be amoung many Busty friends!

I'll be sure to post this coin with better pics if I become the new owner...
