The image is a dead ringer for the coin, except that there is the slightest hint more detail on the coin. It has not been cleaned and has no problems whatsoever.

Uh oh, either you guys are good, in which case PCI must also be good, or, we're all full of baloney! Your guesses were right in line with their grade. This one is getting cracked out for a client's album set.

James-----The coin is a strict fine 15 by old school grading----In today"s market grading it would be called at least a fine18----On Ebay it would be a VF++. The coin is "rare" in even this fine 15 condition----and especially not messed with as I believe this coin is indeed "original". Coin is worth between 100-200 but some fool[in the right holder] might pay even more. NGC would grade this coin a fine 15---IMHO. Thanks to IGWT for the kind compliment. Bob [supertooth]

If the keyhole was complete going around to the left breastplate, then the coin would make a VF20. If NGC had not removed the fine 18 as a grade, this coin would get a fine18 IMHO----That is why I said that they would only give it a fine 15

Grade revealed in initial post - PCI VF-20, gold label!

James----I have looked at hundreds of coins graded in "gold label" PCI slabs----mostly Walkers and Morgans. This 19S would be about as close as any have ever come to a correct grade. Somebody must have forgot to add the additional 15 points. Bob [supertooth]
