Thanks to NGC for being fair -

On behalf of a retail client, Pinnacle Rarities sent an NGC MS68FB Mercury dime to be downgraded. NGC agreed that the coin was overgraded, lowered the grade and credited us the $575 difference in value (of which $25 goes to the client and we pocket a profit of $550 - just kidding laugh.gif ). We and our client appreciate their integrity and fair dealing in this matter.

On another note, I'm hoping that this new thread will divert attention form the one in which John Maben and I were both silly in posting anonymously! That, unexpectedly, certainly opened a whole new can of worms!

Mark. Do me a favor and email this thread to WallStreetMan. If we are all lucky, he'll be speechless for a month.

I just got back 2 Lincolns NGC downgraded this week. (over graded) John made good on them.

PCGS need to take lessons from NGC, it was painless.

Out of fairness to PCGS - they downgraded a coin of ours recently, as well.
