Do you collect early U.S. silver or gold coins?

I am the editor of the JR Newsletter, a new email publication for persons interested in the U.S. Federal silver and gold coinage of the 1794-1839 period. i love both but the silver is more within the reach of many collectors and many silver coins are actually undervalued coins but the key here is...........it is on a specific coin by coin sight seen basis
