I have been looking at coins on other websites and I was wondering is my coin the wrong color? I have the indian head pennies and it seems that the ones I see are more reddish brown, mine look very faded compared to them are they? I am attaching a picture. Thanks.

I can't make out the date on yours, but it looks like an 1859 which would make it a Copper-Nickel Indian head cent......which are much lighter in color than the Bronze Indian Head Cents that began in 1864 and were in Production until 1909. thumbsup2.gif
